PORTUGAL RUGBY YOUTH FESTIVAL 2014 PROMISING TO BE THE BEST EVER!

Registrations are now closed for the 6th edition of the Portugal Rugby Youth Festival. This two (2) day international rugby youth tournament is taking place on the 12 and 13 of April in Lisbon, Portugal, at the fabulous university sports complex in Lisbon city centre with a total of 7 grass rugby fields being used.

This years tournament is promising to be the best ever and confirmed teams attending the four age levels (U13, U15, U17 and U19) competitions include: CRAWSHAYS WELSH, MYERSCOUGH COLLEGE, MALVERN SCHOOL (USA), BIARRITZ (FRANCE), BENNET SCHOOL, MILLFIELD SCHOOL, BOLTON SCHOOL, QUEEN ELIZABETH SCHOOL, IVYBRIDGE COLLEGE, COLSTON's SCHOOL, OLD BOHEMIANS RFC (IRELAND), MAIDSTONE GRAMMAR, CR PORTUENSE (SPAIN), LONDON NOMADS, GORDON´S SCHOOL, PONTEVEDRA RUGBY CLUB (SPAIN).

Now in its 6th year the Portugal Rugby Youth Festival has quickly established itself as the best European youth rugby tournament for clubs and schools and past winners include: Myerscough College (England), Crawshays Welsh RFC (Wales), Clifton (England), Bath Rugby (England), Buffalos RFC (Wales), G. D. Direito (Portugal) and CDUL (Portugal).

From Portugal there will be a total of 18 teams joining the competition in the most exciting and international youth rugby event currently available in Europe. Local clubs from Portugal taking part include: CDUL, BELENENSES, GD DIREITO, AGRONOMIA, CRI SOBREDENSE, CR ARCOS VALDEVEZ, ARS, CASCAIS RUGBY, ER GALIZA, CR EVORA, RUGBY VILA DA MOITA, CR TÉCNICO, COLEGIO PEDRO ARRUPE, CDUP, ERICEIRENSE, CR SÃO MIGUEL, BENFICA.

Move Sports www.movesports.com the event management company responsible for this international event has teamed up with several unions this year and the tournament will see a total of 40 international referees from Wales, England, France, Spain and of Portugal involved in the 200+ games being played under Portuguese glorious sunshine.
