Good luck to all the players and coaches involved in the second Daily Mail Schools Trophy. Who’s going to stop champions Woodhouse Grove?

One thing is for certain, every Saturday from September onwards will see a huge number of players striving to do their best for their schools.

I’m sure the competition will once again attract huge interest.

The schools continue to supply a torrent of talented players able to bring England more and more success at youth level.

England’s second successive triumph in the International Rugby Board’s World Under 20 championship gained only a few headlines amid the avalanche of big events played in June.
