The Five Schools Competition

The Five Schools League is a competitive 1st XV league based in the South East and London Area.
Five schools who already compete against each other in competitive block fixtures will now take part in a league competition where points are awarded for winning matches and bonus points awarded for particular achievements within the game.
2010 sees the first season of the competition.

| U18 Saracens/St Albans School Tournament
Start: 10:00 on Sunday, 05 Sep 10
Finish: 17:30 on Sunday, 05 Sep 10
This will be the 10th annual U18 Pre-Season Tournament jointly run by St Albans School and Saracens RFC at Woollam's Plying Fields, St Albans.
We are looking to host three tiers of competition; an Elite category, a 1st XV and also a 2nd XV tournament. This way we can facilitate the participation of more schools of varying abilities meaning that more players can get some valuable game time in a challenging but enjoyable tournament environment at their level.
The last 9 years has seen some fantastic rugby played at a very high standard at our excellent sports facilities in Hertfordshire.
There will be £250 prize money for the winning team in each tournament plus a framed Saracens shirt signed by this year’s Premiership runners up for the winners of the Elite category. There will also be t-shirts handed out to all participants.
All teams and standards welcome. Please do not hesitate to get into contact by e-mail or on mymobile if there are any questions.
