This is the piece on Bloxham in this month’s issue of Rugby World magazine, under the headline:
Warwick, who overran Bloxham 46-7, also confirmed their potential. A word for Bloxham, who regularly field 11 teams from a school of 250 boys. They enjoyed their best season in living memory, reaching the sixth round of the Natwest Cup for the first time. Highlights include a 31-7 win over Oratory and a 71-0 demolition of Shiplake.
No. 15 Ed Yeates, scrum half Alex Caviezel Cox, captain and number eight Sam Ridgway and centres Toby Butler and Jack Ellis made big contributions. The Under 15s, coached by England Women’s centre Amber Reed, also reached round six, while both the U13s - under the coaching of former England fly half John Horton - and U16s lost one game each.
