A strong Harlequins connection is powering Hurstpierpoint College to their best season in the SOCS Daily Mail Schools Trophy.
Ex-Quins centre Jordan Turner-Hall is helping to coach the Sussex team who defeated Trinity from Croydon in their latest Trophy game, 49-8.
Turner-Hall, who retired in 2015 and now combines coaching the school and Rosslyn Park, is joined by a host of young Quins led by captain and hooker Dylan Thomas and centre James Bourton.
They are backed up by three Under 16s in Chris Preen, Freddie Longley and Oskar Hicks who are also in the Premiership's club's player development scheme.
Bourton had a match to remember against Trinity scoring a try and kicking seven out of seven conversions. Full-back Nick Whitely-Jones contributed two tries.
Hurstpierpoint are chasing a top-10 finish in this national merit table competition for the top rugby-playing schools sponsored by SOCS, the school management system.
Besides the win over Trinity, they have won another four games and have only lost to Brighton College and Cranleigh.
The good form has also given them a place in the semi-final of the RFU's National Cup against Epsom College next Thursday (November 22) after a quarter-final win over Hampton.
Centre James Bourton dives for the line for Hurstpierpoint College against Trinity
Blundell's, the Tiverton-based school, delivered the surprise of the latest Trophy games by beating previously unbeaten Millfield, 15-14.
A mixture of good defence and opportunism brought Blundell's a notable win thanks to tries from wing Will Kennaugh and centre Troy Sixton. The crucial kicks were provided by fly half Greg Kitson who landed a conversion and penalty.
RGS Newcastle are continuing their excellent season which has already brought success in the prestigious St Joseph's tournament.
They are emerging as one of the best teams on the northern circuit after a 36-3 win over St Peter's of York.
An individual try from England Under 18 Chidera Obonna, the centre running in from 50 metres, crowned a fourth Trophy win of the season.

The Newcastle team also hold the honour of having given champions Sedbergh their hardest match of the campaign so far.
Sedbergh, who were 18-12 behind at half-time before pulling off a 31-18 win over Newcastle, posted a ninth win by toppling Lancaster RGS, 54-13.
Captain Tom Curtis led the way by scoring two tries and landing seven out of seven conversions.
Another player to grab two tries was Clifton College prop Matt West. He helped his school to a 43-14 win over Cheltenham College who led early on.
