Eddie Jones has given another helping hand to Brighton College at the start of the SOCS Daily Mail Schools Trophy.

England’s head coach has used the college for international training camps in recent seasons and has become a regular guest coach.

‘The boys love his enthusiasm and attention to detail,’ said Nick Buoy, the college’s director of rugby.

That buzz has already helped Brighton to wins at Cranleigh and Hurstpierpoint in this annual competition, sponsored by the school management system SOCS, for over 100 teams.
When Jones first coached at Brighton he spotted schoolboy international Marcus Smith, who was fast-tracked into the England senior training squad before he made his Premiership debut for Harlequins.
Meanwhile, champions Sedbergh and Rugby School top the table, with both winning their opening three games.
